Training People, Training Horses, Training People to Train Horses.
We all ultimately want our horse’s to perform to their highest level for their ability, that’s the winning nature of the human spirit!
There are times though that things don’t go to plan. Horses are notorious for not fitting in with the human agenda!
When the horse stops wanting to comply it will cost you time, money and energy.
Non-compliance can look like:
• not loading on to floats,
• not loading into barriers,
• not going forward,
• rearing,
• bucking
• pulling
• aggressive behaviour
• pawing
• pulling back
• hard to lead
• hard to catch
• hard to mount and not stand still
Non Compliance usually leads to frustration in the human as the knowledge base to deal with this situation has been exhausted. This ultimately results in the horse becoming worse and your investment compromised!
Most people try hard to do the right thing by the horse, but even trying hard isn’t enough when it comes to problem solving you need the right knowledge, patience and a flexible plan to work through the unforeseen obstacles that might be presented by the horse. This is often something too big for the average horse handler to achieve and unfortunately people get heavier, harder, more aggressive and resort to painful aids and tools to try and deal with the situation.
There’s absolutely no need for this, I will resolve your issues because I completely understand how to effectively communicate with horses, achieve compliance and teach your handlers how to also achieve the same results. This will ultimately same you time, money and create a safe working environment for your staff.
EDUCATION IS THE KEY
A lot of people are into a “Quick Fix” There’s NO SUCH THING. A quick fix is a sure way to break down a horse, destroy trust and mentally, physically and emotionally compromise the well being of the animal and that’s always going to hurt the hip pocket.
What appears to be the long way is always the short way. Any person who has achieved real success in life be it in business or sport know that if you “take the time it takes” you will only have to do it once. You are then free to move onto bigger and better things.
If you want to get your horse back on track then I know that I can help you.
I am an industry specialists who resolves horse and human communication issues and equine behavioural problems and patterns. There isn’t a situation that I have not been able to resolve once the appropriate plan has been adopted and implemented.
I use timeless principles of training that get results every time. I look at things from a perspective that most people are not attuned to, this gives me the ability to achieve the results I achieve.
